The team at Restaurant Den Burgh welcomes you to a culinary experience in a spacious restaurant surrounded by the rustic charm of our landmark building. The open kitchen stimulates your senses with classic and refined dishes prepared with honest products, some of which come from our own vegetable garden.
While you enjoy your lunch or dinner you can immerse yourself in the splendor of the surroundings, with a terrace overlooking the Geniedijk, part of the famous Defence Line of Amsterdam, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our wine cellar houses a carefully curated selection of wines from over 125 different wineries, guided by our sommelier, who will diligently and passionately advise you in choosing the perfect wine for every moment.
Den Burgh has several private rooms, suitable for a meeting, training or private dining.
We are open for lunch and dinner from Monday through Friday.

At Den Burgh, we celebrate summer with a menu full of fresh, vibrant flavours, inspired by the season and our own kitchen garden.
“After lunch is always a great time for us to work with the entire kitchen crew in the vegetable garden. Apart from the fact that we want to work ‘from seed to plate’ as much as possible, we also have a strict ‘no waste’ formula in the kitchen. This means that everything we take from the garden we want and have to process. Therefore, the vegetable garden largely determines what vegetables go on the plate. We ferment the surplus produce such as beets, zucchini, palm cabbage and edible flowers in various marinades in weck pots in our basement. Old times revived”.
